Hi Frank,
Are you saying you want to use the Ultra-Fab Steel Roller for RVs with 2" Trailer Hitches # UF48-979020 on a Blue Ox ball mount with a drop or an adapter kind of like the # BX88132? It would work with the # BX88132, but if you want to send me some pictures of where you're wanting to connect it I can confirm whether this would be the right fit or not. This specific roller is designed to fit 2" receiver tubes and be secured in place with a hitch pin and clip. view full answer...
Hey Karen, you'll need a specific adapter but the answer is yes, you can use a 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch adapter for your bike rack on your 2017 Ford Fusion with the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24897.
What you will need is one compatible with the Class I hitch, the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HTAD; to secure it to your hitch use the Pin & Clip # F-4.
Keep in mind this will halve the capacity of the hitch, so the capacity of your bike rack and bike(s)... view full answer...
Hey Mark, thanks for the question, and while we have exactly what you're looking for, it's actually a different part number (the one you mentioned is for a long bed). I went ahead and verified for you the correct SuperHitch for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the 6-1/2 foot short bed, which is the following:
- TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLC1212-30
You have a good eye because the # TLC1212-30 is an absolute BEAST with a 2-1/2" receiver on top and 2" receiver... view full answer...
Hello John. After looking thru all of the snap-ring jacks we carry, I am sorry to say that we do not offer anything with a wheel that will also use a 1/2" pin. We do have a jack with a wheel and a snap ring that uses a 3/8" pin, the Fulton # FTJ120W0301. We also have one snap ring jack that does use a 1/2" pin, part # TJB-2001-Z, but as lock would have it, this jack has a welded foot plate instead of a wheel.
I know neither of these options fit your description exactly, but these will... view full answer...
Hello again Mark. The Brophy Hitch Extender # HE06 does not have a threaded hitch pin hole. There is still an anti-rattle hitch pin you can use with it, which is the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232. This lock comes with a block that is placed inside of the hollow shank of the hitch extender. This block is tapped and will accept the 5/8" threaded pin, so basically giving you the same anti-rattle capabilities as if the hitch extended did have a tapped hitch pin hole.

The hitch pin for the Kuat Piston Pro Bike Rack # KU66ZR which fits your 1-1/4" receiver is more of an anti-theft device than an actual securing pin. The built in anti-rattle puts tension on the receiver which holds the bike rack in place. When this is tight in the receiver the rack is not able to slide around in the receiver like your ball mount which used the larger hitch pin. view full answer...
To use the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System # AM3200 with a Road Armor pin box you'll need to reach out to Andersen for their lockout adapter. This will install on the pin box and prevent it from rocking back and forth so that it can be used with the Andersen Ultimate hitch. view full answer...
The Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack # HR4000 is going to require a threaded hitch lock like the Lock # HRLHPT which should have come with the bike rack. A standard locking pin like the Lock # HRLHP2 you found is a full 5/8" diameter to fit the hitch pin hole while the Lock # HRLHPT has a 1/2" diameter threaded section. view full answer...
Yes we do, the Curt Class III ball mount # C45020 that you referenced has a 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin hole. This is the standard size for ball mounts that fit 2 inch hitches. view full answer...
Hi Steve,
The wedge kit is designed to prevent the king pin from rotating inside of the jaws to force the pivot point back to the turret of the Sidewinder for additional turning clearance. Most rotating pin boxes will come with a generic rectangular-shaped wedge kit to fit the variety of hitches on the market but there are specific fit wedge kits designed to spread this force out more evenly across the funnel of the hitch head. The wedge handle should only need to be adjusted on the initial... view full answer...
You can use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR with your 3" receiver as long as the 3" to 2" adapter is like the # 337RTA302 where the tube sticks out with an additional hitch pin hole. If you were to use a reducer sleeve like # e33YR that shares a hitch pin hole with the 3" receiver the locking hitch pin wouldn't be able to fit. view full answer...
Hey Naron, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the anti-rattle on the Diversi-Tech Ball Mount # DTSTBM6600-2S is right at 2 inches. I am not sure where you saw that is was 3.5 inches but that is too long. view full answer...
Yes, the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16180 will fit on your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 but it typically not recommended unless you have a pivoting pin box like the Reese Sidewinder # RP34FR since you have a short bed. First you will need Rail Kit # C16429-204 if your truck did not come with the factory in bed hitch prep or you will need the Adapter # C88KR if your truck does have the in bed mounting system.
Typically a short bed truck is recommended to have a sliding 5th wheel... view full answer...
A shorter pin box will reduce your turning clearance by bringing your trailer in closer so you don't want to do that. The longest pin box we have that fits a 1621HD bolt pattern is the Curt Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box item # LC158778. The center of the king pin sits 27-3/8" from the back mounting bolts and 19-1/2" from the front one.
The issue is that the Curt Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box item # LC158778 will not work with the Anderson because it's incompatible with gooseneck adapters. However,... view full answer...
Hey Rob,
Yes, the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 would be able to mount to the gooseneck ball in your B&W Turnoverball hitch. You'll just need to remove the coupler pin and drop the base of the hitch down on the hitch ball and then you can replace the pin. You will also need to tighten the bolts of the front of the hitch to fully secure it to the hitch ball and prevent rattling. view full answer...
Hi Ralf,
Yes, the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # AM3200 would be compatible with a Lippert Rhino Box. The only rule that the manufacturer has is that it can't be used with rotating pin boxes so you're good to go. view full answer...
Hey Carl, yes the Curt E16 hitch part # C16115 does work with the Demco rail kit adapter and a Reese Revolution pin box but due to it's loose jaw design it would not be my first choice.
Instead I would recommend the Curt A16 part # C16120 which also fits both the rail adapter and pin box, has the same height range as the E16 but has a much nicer jaw design so it will be a lot quieter. view full answer...
Hey Samuel, so the Draw Tite hitch part # 24963 has a hitch tube depth that would be deeper than what any hitch accessory designed for it would need but what I think you are asking about is the little weld stop that's in Class I hitches like this that prevent Class II accessories from fitting and you are trying to make sure your accessory will fit.
So Class I accessories have a little notch in their shank to allow them to fit but Class II do not which is why they stop short. So if the... view full answer...
Gen-Y does offer a fifth wheel pin box to gooseneck coupler that can fit in place of the Lippert Turning Point pin box with the part # GY48GR. At this time they do not offer a pin box replacement (no gooseneck adapter) that can fit in place of the Turning Point. view full answer...
The etrailer 5th Wheel King Pin Lock # e49PR has a 2-1/8" span to fit standard 5th wheel trailer king pins, which will typically be 2" in diameter. This would clamp to the smaller portion of the king pin where the 5th wheel trailer hitch jaws would typically sit. view full answer...
